June 2016 Meeting.
Twenty-six members attended the June meeting, our last one until September. A few highlights to mention:
1. Some dates for 2017 have been set in an unusual flurry of advanced planning. Good work Paul on getting these dates set for insurance purposes.
March 25 – 26 for Matisho Memorial Turning at Waldheim.
May 4 – 7 Deb McLeod’s turning weekend.
June 22 – 25 Shell Lake turning weekend.
September 11. HCT meeting at Rick Hounjet’s. Only people who have made at least one mistake while turning are allowed to come!! Be prepared to bring a failed object to throw in the fire or describe a failed project.
2. Al Bakke brought some information about recent sales of good value woodworking equipment.

Sat. June 25
9:00 am. Al Bakke will demonstrate the oneway coring system.
1:00 pm. Deb McLeod will demonstrate her therming jig.
4. Show and Tell, Duncan’s demo and the draw for prizes, finished off the meeting.
