I am helping to liquidate 30+ years of work from a retired woodturner. There are an extensive collection of roughed out bowls, boxes, platters, live edge vases, bowl blanks, weedpots, and other items large and small. Species for bowl blanks are primarily burl and curly bigleaf maple, as well as elm and other burls. There are also many smaller exotic pieces including cocobolo, tulipwood, Mexican kingwood, and many other hard to find species. All wood is dry, the earliest dated piece is 1991 with most being roughed in the late 1990’s.
At this time, I have only reached out to the local guilds and other turners I know personally. Viewing will be by appointment, I am located in Saskatoon.

Pricing at this time is as follows:
Rough elm bowls, lumber pieces, burl offcuts, and other misc items $5/lb
Roughed out bigleaf curly and burl bowls, bowl blanks, platters, and other items $7/lb.
Exotic woods in pen blanks, box blanks, and other pieces $12/lb
I have thousands of pieces to look at, if you let me know your preferred item to turn (bowls, pens, etc) I can work to have specific barrels pulled out for you to look at.

From Richard:
Attached are pictures of my latest work.  They are all made from Elm and are around 6 inches tall and around 5 inches in diameter. All are stained with 5 layers of Tung oil and finished with wax.  I call them my howling wolf correction.
